This green and pleasant land

I had the 'joy' of covering nearly 200 miles yesterday for a couple of meetings, site visits and some quotes.

I was not particularly looking forward to it even with A/C on Max but my Journey took me from Surrey to Kent to Sussex to Hampshire and then back home to Surrey in a circular route

I was absolutely stunned at some of the places I drove through, trying to stay off major routes & motorways. I 'discovered' wonderful roads, views and towns/villages and ended up having a wonderful day with several impromptu stops. I know why I like the English countryside - it is varied, interesting and above all beautiful.

Don't ever forget it

    Have to agree. Not quite the same league: I journey through Northamptonshire on my way to work I never get bored of it's colour and variety. Lovely to see.
