Andy - all hailstones, rain, mist, dew etc gratefully can be sent to Spalding, Lincs. We have JUST had our first rainfall for almost three months!
The grass is all dying and nothing's growing really.
Any rain or otherwise would be a benefit - I would gladly loose a few days for some rain!
We are so dry down here in Surrey.
A couple of odd rain falls but not enough to get into the soil. We are planting/turfing at moment (commercial work so we have to..) and using valuable resources (guys and water) to keep them all alive....
However tonight looks promising as we get the "edge" of the low pressure storm centred up North.
agree, - i'm just down the road from Gary and loathe to do any planting at the moment as the ground is like dust, - any rain dancing gratefully received
Sorry if you're having the opposite problem and getting soaked, my waterproofs are feeling redundant.

Plant accordingly to the situation and circumstance.
The South is drier, fact, the South will get drier, disputable fact.
So plant gardens accordingly?
Simples!
Hmm, plant according to weather conditions.
Water lillies?
Cactii for us then in the South !
Or Plant-less gardens ;-0)
My neighbour tells me we'll have some heavy stuff on Thursday and Friday.
