“With the new 525 series we’ve looked to cover all aspects of professional brushcutting and trimming applications, resulting in a low weight but incredibly sturdy and ergonomic range of models. Key whilst in development was to produce high-performing, low vibration, easy to use, operator friendly products with high productivity” says Kevin Ashmore, UK Commercial Landscaping & Groundcare Manager.
At the heart of the 525 series is a new 25.4cc X-Torq engine which keeps exhaust emissions at a minimum whilst offering improved fuel efficiency combined with more power and torque. It is also equipped with Air Purge to reduce the number of starting pulls and Smart Start® which reduces the start pull effort by 40%. When these are combined with our “Low Vib” anti-vibration system which delivers exceptionally low operator vibration levels, the result is an effective increase in daily maximum run time, user efficiency and productivity.
The family is characterised by its low weight, balance & manoeuvrability. On the cow horn models the ergonomic perspective is enhanced by the high handle bar post mount, which facilitates excellent operator comfort especially when working on steep or sloping ground, and contributes to even greater efficiency and productivity.
