My rates double for weekend work, whether its an extra day or not ..... Needless to say, I dont work many weekends :)
I'll take the day off and suprise my better half with a trip to our local eliet dealer, where we can marvel at the various shredders and tyre kick to our hearts content!
Or take her out for a slap up meal of frites, frickadel & mayo :)
If I took her out for a meal like that there be a slap alright.. your suggestion makes a hearty Friday working lunch nonetheless. :-)
also do not forget that the bank holliday in may has been changed this year from monday to the following friday
And that caught a lot of people out ( me included ) as many 2020 physical diaries were printed before the Government changed the date - so watch out for any cheap ones !!!

not for me, i thrive on unpredictability, the less routine the better lol ... what i do is weather dependent and have elderly parents and young children, i am out pretty much every sunday and bank holiday with my other business, again the results from that are largely impossible to forecast and with the possibility of change of venue or cancellation; maybe i will have picked up a new gardening job which urgently needs doing, who knows
