I receive my fair share of emails from landscape machinery, relevant suppliers etc (hasten to say; not from any LJN advertisers....) that simply get classed as Spam, go straight in the deleted folder or are moved there.
Sending emails to businesses with;
- no subject heading
- misleading subjects
- phrases like 'Special Offer' (with no further details unless you click to open) or,
- pure graphics
seems a total waste of effort. I'd love to know who in the respective businesses considers it an effective route to market awareness ?
In my book, they then get classed as Spam for the future, losing that business vital exposure.
Come on Suppliers - You get one chance of a few seconds to make an impact.
Lets see some honest and/or truly relevant subject headings .... or just don't bother me....
