Stick with plan A it’s looks best by far:)
If mower has bbc. Why not cut round the edges then do stripes knocking out blade drive at the ends?
Original plan A looks best. Perhaps experiment with a mown or strimmed headland to finish each section and don't go over the edges when striping.
Why stick to one pattern? The National Trust & RHS recommend varying the direction of the stripes regularly to avoid rutting etc., so I would mow a different pattern every time!
