Morning fellow gardeners , my lawn rota is set to start next Tuesday , however looking at the forecast I don't think that's going to happen , I use and check 3 weather apps daily ( xc weather , bbc weather and met office ) sometimes however they are all wrong πŸ˜‚ landscape juice could you make a more accurate forecast app? last year was very dry and we didn't need to move many dates around but I've a feeling this is going to disrupt my very busy Rota.Β
hope everyone is well and ready to start a busy seasonΒ

Personally, I use The Weather Channel app, which I find far more accurate than those you mention. Usually predicts chance of rain to the hour and is very localised.

going to download that right now :)

    Hyperlocal is good

  • I find yr.no to be useful for short-term weather forecasts, surprisingly as its the Norwegian weather service.Β Β

If I'm looking for the week ahead I use a mix of yr.no, netweather.tv, and whatever weather it is on my phone and try and make a judgment based on all three.Β

  • It's so hard to predict and how many times have you cancelled work for the next day as it's forecast to rain all day and it's dry from 10am!

I generally use the BBC weather app but watch the bbc tv forecast and make my own call based on the Β weather map which I am more times than not I seem to get right. (I loved geography at school especially weather, sad I know)
