    Is it yorkstone? some of the edges suggest to me that it might be.. where to get in a similar condition? perhaps a local reclaim yard.

    I would agree with Matt and also say that it is Yorkstone. It's very old and weathered though. You could find out for sure by either:

    Jet washing it clean
    Or
    Breaking a piece in half to see why it's like inside.

    How much do you need? The reason I ask is because we sell reclaimed yorkstone and its one of those products that produces horrendous amounts of waste. I am sure we have got some at our yard whic would be very similar to what your looking for. We're based 25 mins from guildford. If its the right stuff you can have it FOC as we will only throw it away

    Thank you for all your replies, and thank you very much for your offer steve, it is only a small amount 6-7m long and 60cm wide, let me know what you have and prices etc, looks like you will be a handy supplier for me to get to know as I don't at the moment have anyone I use for flags etc, drop me an email at pristine-gardens@live.com cheers Dave

    I have just been over to our depot in Langley and we have got a couple of m2 of stuff almost identical to the photo that you posted. You are welcome to have it FOC as we would only throw it away. Give me a shout
