Hi folks,
Went into work this morning and realised we had had a break in last night, thieves came into our premises (where we teach and train up students with special needs and disabilities practical horticulture and life skills). The thieves had taken a range of gear from us (including gas heaters, leaf blowers, drills and other power tools).
We are based in West Stirlingshire and I would ask any guys up this way to keep an eye out for any people trying to sell them any dodgy kit.
I have been searching on gumtree and ebay for any of the stuff but so far no luck.
Hopefully we will be able to track them down, and if not find sources to fund replacement gear to enable us to carry on as normal with the students.

Best of luck Matt, that is appalling and I'm very sorry for you guys.
Perhaps contact your local paper/other media outlets and highlight the devastating (to the end user) crime??? Could deter re-sell and also shame (lol)??

Hopefully your insurers will cover it. I had the same thing recently and it's a sick feeling that your business is nearly broke, but the tools will probably fetch a few hundred at best on the black market.
The police advised me to keep an eye on ebay, gumtree etc., just in case I spotted anything for sale. Mine was also engraved with a postcode, so there's a chance it'll turn up at a repairer, or in a random search on a suspicious van.
