I always thought the large guard was fitted to the KM-MB attachment and a smaller guard with line cutter was fitted to the KM-AC?
I know some there was some little trick of buying one attachment that could be used for both AC & MB use...can't remember what it was, but FRJ's are really good and would guess their advice is watertight.
I think your right Gary
Now that you've said that i realised i actually bought the KM-MB and a new autocut 25-2 head so i could swap them around if needed, fitted the strimmer head and completely forgot about the metal blade!
Doh!! too late now ive used it! had a look at FRJ's website and they do appear to list a guard 41330071007 that fits the same machines as the bigger guard does and therefore will also fit the KM attachment
