I have a small van Dougie , Kombi's are ideal but just have to lay the attachments flat and only take what i need .

I did pick up a golf club bag for free which helps to keep them contained but find a couple of velco straps do the same job and take up less space than the golf bag , if you have the height tool clips screwed into a baton and attached to the bulk head could work ,

I always empty the pole saw oil reservoir in transit as they always seem to leak .

        • I was hopeing to hang them or attach then to the van with some sort of cilps wasnt sure where to get the clips to hold them in place i have a couole of hedge cutters attached to the bulkhead with massive hangers i always empty the pole saw after every job so the oik is t left in there for days. Think its time to upgrade the van its just to small how do you get on. With the small van?

          • you can get insanely powerful neodymium magnets fitted with a hook which could be used to store the parts against the steel walls or ceiling of the van

            • Where would you buy the powerful neodymium magnets?

              • ebay, amazon etc... the small ones with the base about 1cm across are good for hanging small items, the larger type with base about an inch across you could literally suspend a strimmer off a van ceiling using 2 of them

                • Have you got a kink to the ones you use?

                  • i don't use them for this purpose personally as not owned an actual van this century lol. but was selling these hooks on car boot sales last year. displayed on a piece of metal the big ones are so strong grown men struggled to pull them off. people were asking if they were super glued on. can't remember which exact listings i bought off but they are all much of a muchness within particular size brackets i think. They must be neodymium though, ferrite magnets are weak. The pulling force in kg needs to be taken with a pinch of salt as actual weight carrying ability is less, but the large ones in particular are seriously strong

                    neodymium hook magnets | eBay

                    neodymium hook magnets | eBay
Find great deals on eBay for neodymium hook magnets. Shop with confidence.
