Awesome bit of kit mate, I switched over to Stihl battery for hedge cutters , short and long and would never move back to petrol, my short is the HSE 86 and it's taken everything I've thrown at it.
I have also just switched over to Stihl battery for my chainsaw and love it, it's just so much nicer to work with than petrol machines..
Billybop seems to be the man in the know when it comes to battery kit, I'm sure he'll see this post and comment ..
cheers harry my cordless are all hibernating at the moment lol but will be back in action soon no doubt
Great so worth the change over how is the power fron petrol i assume there will be no service invold ie spark plug and filters
hsa86 are great i use them a lot. the hsa94 ones are even better, for certain jobs
I had a look at the hsa94 but the battery back pack put me off i feel it would be a pain with the cable being short and akward
best off with the belt pouch battery holder on the hsa94, the backpack battery is only necessary for the power hungry strimmers and blowers, it is absolutely not necessary for the hedge trimmers
you get about an hour or more from an ap300 in the belt pouch with a hsa94. The "T" version in particular actually out performs petrol machines due to the super fast stroke rate of the cutting blades. In the hsa86 i use the ap100 battery as it is the lightest
Does the hsa94 have a battery slot on the machine ? So once i upgrade to batteru stimmers i would need the back pack
no slot on hsa94, cable only. so not cordless lol. the fsa85 and fsa90 strimmers have a battery slot. but the most powerful strimmer in the range fsa130 needs a cable. And a backpack battery for that one as the Ap300 in belt pouch only lasts 15 minutes on that if used in anger
