    I'd go stihl but echo dealer a long way away both good makes had an echo strimmer still kept as backup. But stihl spares easier to come by for me.
    But the only things I've had go wrong on my stihl stuff is pull cords (4 or more years old)and an oiler (14 years old )in a chainsaw. That's the main reason stihl gets my vote they just work
