i have a nice hitachi petrol backpack blower, hardly used...it stays in the shed as i only use the stihl cordless battery one now as it is much more convenient quieter and cheaper to run
That's good for thought anyway. Quieter and more powerful!!
Try a BR500 before you buy it ;)
Not buying one just looking out of interest!
Just a bit surprised the noise was less.
Is the 500 a 4 mix?
Depends on your view and yes, it's a 4Mix.
It's not the engine, but the air nozzle they have throttled - it has a baffle system in the output tube which is vwhere the reduction in noise & power is.
I'd say if you look at value for money (ie output per £) the BR200 looks good value if you want a smaller backpack blower.
We looked the BR500, but went for the BR600 for each team.
I wouldn't waste my money on it. It's louder has more vibes and less air power (with the same size engine) than a bg86.
