I'm sure you realise there will be a lot more resistance with the plug in + any "resistance" to the engine turning over, shouldn't have any bearing on the spring in the pullstart........ in fact if the engine was seized solid, the spring should still be fine I can only think that you're not fitting the spring correctly in the pullstart...... you're not over-tensioning it?................ Is it fitted the wrong way round?
Thanks mate, yeh your right I tried a pull start from another blower and it worked fine. I'll try and work what I'm doing wrong with the springs then :D
