Hi Matt, I don't know much about the Stiga machines but after reading many threads on here I traded in my Hayter pro for a Weibang 48 pro, it is a better machine than the Hayter in every way but especially pick up and speed. Definitely worth considering.
Thanks, Il have a look at the weibang machines when i can as they seem to have good reviews. Trouble is going to a different dealer sometimes you never know what level of care you get.
Very true Matt, I am lucky to have found a really good small business who deals Weibang nearby to me in Norfolk .
My experience of husqvana 551 is not that positive. The belt pulled clippings into the front wheel drive cog and it jumped it's belt repeatedly so it went back. Wierdly I bought a cheaper husqi machine for one of the grass cutting runs and has been faultless for two years.
The other option is the Husqvarna 451 as both alloy decks and similar specs. Thanks for ur input on the 551.. Nobody seems to use the stiga pedestrian mowers down here in Dorset
We use a couple of Husky 553se bioclips.
Guys love them. Simple, Honda engine, great anti vibe handles that can be offset (..and also collaspe), single lever height adjustment.
Agree ive got the orginal Klippo version before Husqvarna brought them over. Bullett proof
I have the husqi mulch mower as well a great work horse. Keep the blade really sharp and the finish is excellent.
I use a Stiga Twinclip 55 (the 3 in 1) and it mulches as good as any dedicated mulcher I've ever used. I highly rate them.
Hi Seth, how is the stiga? Still going strong? I'm starting to look at getting one of their roller mowers. I'll try to get a demo when grass cutting starts.
