used it on quite a few occasions and never had any problems. only ever used the everedge. several were put in some years ago and are still looking good
i use a fair amount of Rite-edge aluminium edging - lovely stuff to work with, comes in natural, brown, black and green, it is not cheap, but it's also damn good stuff.
afraid i've never used the steel stuff so can't give a view on that.
As per Stuart, have used Rite-edge many times, love working with it and durable - as long as you dont run a wheel off the edge when mowing! We have it installed on some of our maintenance contracts and always use one of our roller mowers to be on the safe side.
