I'm currently looking for somewhere reasonably safe and secure to store my tools etc after work as well as somewhere to do some routine cleaning and maintenance to them as well as cleaning the van!
Unfortunately in Grantham, it's a power struggle, two companies in particular own most of the units as well as the council sticking their ore into the mix too!
The prices for some of these small lockups in simply ludicrous, some want £350 for a lockup no bigger than 12ft x 12ft? I can rent a small container on a secure site just of the A1 for £68 a month fixed price for a year.
Only problem is it still leaves me with the problem of having somewhere to clean tools and the van as there is no water supply. I also need somewhere big enough to store green waste, so i can do a weekly tip to the waste recycling site which costs me £20 a tonne minimum charge. I was originally taking it in daily but it was such a waste of the money and the company wouldn't let me open an account and pay per weight.
I've put my feelers out for a few people but most aren't interested in having extra money in their pocket for space they aren't using! Anybody got any ideas or know of anyone within the Grantham area?

Theres that lawnmower place on the A52 near Bingham, I see there are units behind that to rent but I don't know the prices. I'm in the same area & a place to put waste would be a bonus, where do you tip Colsterworth ?.
