Toilets are usually cheap to rent. If they are hired then they should have a sticker on or something otherwise they might be bought or a bankrupt company's non collected stock. If they have been there a long time then I wouldn't want to be the driver emptying them. I am not sure how much it will be to empty them if they are not hired from the same company but I wouldn't have thought it would be much as they don't hold a lot. Hope that helps a little. Julian.

Site Toilets
Hi everyone, Happy new year to you. i've had a great rest and holiday, and i'm raring to go now.
As Julian says, if you are brave enough to open the door, a hired toliet will definitely have contact details. If not, I'm sure a local firm will empty them for nothing, whilst you need them on site, if you donate them at the end.
Good luck
lol, - hadn't realised that was how it would turn out....
thanks for info, -any idea how long they are usually hired for, and whether you pay on pick up?- I think there was a number on the door, -and i'm not keen to be charged for something I havn't had use of.
Toilet Humour...don't you just love it..:D
Claire, we've used Site Equip Ltd (Loos R us) when we need a site loo around our/your areas.
Normally hired by the week, with a suck out scheduled once a week. Can be paid for upfront or in arrears if you have an account with supplier.
They used to be in Farnham but are now based nr Alton. It's who most of the main hire shops sub out to in this area if you order them in.
They hire/sell/maintain them so might be worth giving them a call and getting their advice/service : 0800 371994
Slightly off-track, until recently I was on the management committee of a local Senior football club. We always managed to attract a main sponsor for the first team. Unfortunately we were almost at the start of one season with no sponsor, so one of the Committee suggested offering a type of raffle to 10 companies at £200 each, with the winner being named the season's sponsor, with local paper coverage, company name on shirts etc.
You've guessed it, the winner was a local portable toilet company......oh how the lads loved their new kit!
Claire,
Expect to pay £20-25 /week with a possible minimum hire charge of 4 weeks. They clean them out weekly for this as well. Try Travis Perkins. They supply loos to my sites at £20/week.
All best,
David
