we installed some that a school had purchased as they thought they would be better. Apart from everything inside getting covered in water from condensation, vandals managed to kick the doors to pieces on both of them within a few months. Both sheds had to be replaced. Both got replaced with timber ones. They are a nightmare to put together as well.
as you can tell I don't rate them at all!
worst thing to erect ever, i did a 6x4 took 5 hours , instructions are crap, dont waste your money
A friend bought one from Homebase for me to put up...... hundreds of small screws, small metal parts etc........ took one look at it all and sent it back for a refund!! Looked like it was going to be a horrendous job to assemble.
I have an 8x10 metal shed from argos in the garden. It was a pain to assemble, and gets condensation in winter, so I had to line the inside of the roof with tarp to catch the internal rain.
I wouldn't buy another one of these kind. I would say unless you want to spend a lot on a high security metal shed, stick to wood.
I think I could probably break into mine with my bare hands.
Thanks all for the responses will stick to a good quality wooden shed, suppose if has decent frame work will be stronger any way. If some one wants what you have! Does not really matter how much security you have they will get it!!!
if your shed doesnt have to be beautiful you can build a very strong shed from scant for framing and osb board instead of tongue and groove cladding, then wallop it in the wood preservative colour of your choice.plus it can be any size or shape to fit a particular area!
The tin sheet can be cut with pretty cheap snips - Ive got one in a customers garden that was robbed 2 years ago.... they cut the sides and took the patio table....... once cut you can just tear them apart - I tore this one to bits to get rid of it....
