I have the sparts parts list - exploded diagrams etc, also the pdf of the instruction manual, has carb settings etc.
Any good to you?
Hi Scott, That would be great thanks. I am looking for the correct carb tuning process rather than the generic turns/rpm figures, does your docs include this ?...I have only ever done chainsaw tuning which usually calls for setting a higher rpm with throttle stop and L and then richening the L to the correct idle rpm, unsure if this procedure is still the same on hedge trimmers?.
Not sure, will check tonight.
I've found the Stihl carb settings to be pretty spot on, with just a tweak here and there to get the best running.
If they don't run properly there is maybe a fault elesewhere - worn bore, worn throttle spindle, that sort of thing.
