Sawn Polished Sandstone - any tips?

We're installing some sawn and polished sandstone units @ 600 x 150 size for the 1st time in an upcoming project. Are there any tips or tricks for this particular material I could use at installation to get the best result?

    How big are u going to leave the gaps?

    Lay it on a moist bed so you don't get splashes when u tamp the slabs.I could travel up to help if u wnt n the money is ther.

    Haven't decided on the gaps yet Keiran and thanks for the offer too!!

    I won't be laying it personally I've got subbies in for that but I don't like getting things done that I don't fully know inside out!

    Will keep the moist bed in mind mate cheers!

    Thought I might get some more feedback from some other members as well though...surely some of you have laid this stuff before?

    Fair dos! - sometimes you never know if there's a peculiar thing with certain products and I don't like finding out the hard way!
