I thought you had to have PA1 and PA6 as a minimum to buy chemicals! I know that certain dealers will sell 5 litres of roundup to the public but i can't believe it sold on line they must be breaking the law!
My view is unless you are trained you should not be able to buy the stuff i agree with you Gary on the overdosing and the environmental impact that make a useful product harder and harder to licence!
I have a similar view on chainsaws but that's for a different thread!
"Dont see why not, it killed our ivy after one neat dose, i would highly recommend it".
Thats one of the reviews!
Why do you care who buys a chainsaw?
If they are using it day in day out they will be trained to some degree and if not it's their own fault if they do something stupid.
Suggest similar applies to us in our industry......
:)
If you read the thread first, it's indented under your comments re: chainsaw safety.....
Who's suggesting banning them ? You've introduced that aspect.
I merely suggested ensuring people are trained and qualified to use products in work that can hurt, seriously injure them, members of the public or the environment, otherwise we go back to the dark ages where workers put themselves and others at risk.
Don't view issues in monchrome, rather view them in colour or at worst shades of grey...;)
Anyway I'm obviously wrong so I'll sign off:)
