Share your thoughts completely, fees sky rocket each year, like you we were forced into it to being accredited to keep an existing maintenance contract we had. I'm seriously considering whether to continue with the contract next year if SC prices are set to rise at current rates. We've won no more business through being SC accredited, I did start to look into being CHAS accredited instead which was cheaper. When I told SC this they waived the PQQ charge from our invoice.
you have to look at the proffit from these jobs then take the 850 off that to see if its worth keeping them on it might be worth talking to your clients about it to see if they still insist on it if they do you could tell them the price will have to go up to reflect the cost of the scheme
