Depend on the job - to rotovate an allotment yes - to make a seed bed for a lawn, now....
Do you have something you could reccomend ?
Hire one per job and charge it out. How many times do you think you’ll need one? I actually do own one, a vintage Templar Tiller, it’s actually quite good for most light jobs and it will do heavy digging, it just takes a while compared to a heavy-duty version from a hire shop.
