I've only had one pair of secateurs for the past 3 years since starting up, felco 7s with a rotating handle, so I don't really have anything to compare them with, but I don't think I'll ever need to replace them unless I lose them.
I've had both and prefer the fixed handles.
Fixed Handles here, could not get on with rotating ones but hey that's just me.
...and me!

Felcos with fixed handles for me, but if you were pruning continuously with out doing anything else I suppose the rotating handles may be of some benefit.
The leather holster shown here, which clips over a trouser pocket, rather than being threaded onto a belt is fantastically convenient and in 20 years has only fallen off once....and I spent an afternoon looking for and finding it.
So general consensus would be to stick with the fixed handles, thanks guys :-)
With regards the Felcos, i would like a pair but i have yet to find some that feel comfortable, to me at least. If my local outlets had a better selection i might already have a pair, but i dont want to spend that money without holding the things first! The Bahcos seem to suit my hands perfectly so i'll stick with the beer money option for now. Cheers
Sounds like i'm on my own here but I use Wolf Garten - don't think they do rotating handles?
Ditto when i was using them but don't buy felco anymore.
