road closures

Hi all!  Just wanting to check something.  We have been asked to plant a large tree on a roundabout.  Its a dual carriage way with a 30mph speed limit.  My question is, aside from the usual risk assessments and high viz gear, at what stage do we need to consider a lane closure to comply with the law - I think it is speed related, but cant find a definative answer online.  Can anyone help?  Thanks very much in advance.

  • i cant give you a definative answer but the roundabout will be the responsibilty of the highways or the local council wich i persume one of them has asked you to plant a tree if its a third party make sure that they have permishion to plant and any of the above shuld be able to put a closure in place if nessersery
