Are we talking about insurance against theft? Or insuring for road use?
I was talking about general use mainly for a third party and legal point of view.
i was under the impression that it was now a requirement for it be insured as motor vehicle irrespective of use.
my machines are not used on the road and only on private gardens some of which obviously run ajacent to a public highway.
i guess my question is other than theft what do other maintenance / gardening companies do
I don’t and have never had insurance for a mower. I don’t know if you could even insure a machine with no number plate. I can’t see the point myself and have never heard of any requirement to do so.
If we already have public liability and we aren’t talking about theft, then I can’t see what we would actually be insuring and for what purpose.
