Ride On Mower

First post, so please take it easy...

I run a small facilities management company, and previously subbed out our Grounds Maintenance, however, now I need to take it in-house.

For a new contract, I need to buy a ride on mower for 3.5 acres of grass, but looking at the various options, i am unsure as to what is best for our use and the drawbacks of each type.

My needs are:

  • easily transportable
  • budget £5-8k
  • reliable (of course)
  • idiot proof

I think thats about it.

Ive been advised a triple/double gang would be no good as its fairly uneven ground, and they are not as easy to operate on this type of surface, is that right?

Would look to buy a new or nearly new, wouldn't want something that could require attention straight away.

Many thanks in advance.
