Rhus typhinia tiger eyes

Evening one and all,

Has anyone got good feedback on using The small shrub Rhus typhina tiger eyes?. I wanted to plant it by the front door of my house, with a bamboo root blocker around it.If it is likely to escape and run like Ronnie Biggs, then I will pass, but if anyone knows any better then feel free to share.

thanks

Paul

Paul, i dont know the hybrid 'tiger eyes' but Rhys typhina is a potential night mare. Agreed root barrier might well stop that happening but at any signs of that not working and it popping up elsewhere prepare for war :)

    • Hey Dan,

Yeah I have found a few forums state side, where I think it was bred, and the consensus has been to run away from it just like the others.  I might put it in a big pot, as it's a wonderful variety.. plus Iv bought it now😄...

      Hows things with you, busy??
