Hi, been a while since my last post but still lurking. I'm considering completing a course to improve my gardening knowledge; I want to learn things such as pruning techniques, plant identification, lawn care tips, and anything else that can practically give me a bit more edge. I'm not necessarily concerned at the "qualification" to be gained, but would like to get some good guided hands-on tuition.  Has anyone completed either the RHS horticulture course, or the City & Guilds horticulture course, and can give a review ??. Thanks

  • Afternoon, my first time making a comment today, big fan of the site!!
I did the Basic RHS as an evening class over 2 years at a local agricultural collage and I have to say it was brilliant. I had a great tutor which no doubt helps but the course is packed full of really interesting info that I would highly recommend to anyone either in the business, wanting to start up or just looking to broaden the horticultural knowledge. Big thumbs up from me!!
