resin bonded drives

Im carrying a design and build job and as part of it the client has requested that his concrete drive be replaced with resin bond aggregate, the current drive has cracks so Im guessing it will all have to come up, I was going to sub the job out but the process looks very simple, can anyone recommend a training course for resin bonding? and is it possible to lay it on a type 1 base or does it have to go onto concrete/tarmac?
