Replacing Kubota G21

Feels like the right time to trade in our G21 for something newer.I'd be happy to stick with something from the Kubota range but open to suggestions and would be interested to know if anyone has experience/feedback on the 2120 or new G21?

I'm after something that will do both collect and rear/side discharge,deisel and robust enough to perform reliably for at least a day a week on very large gardens weekly/fortnightly cuts.

  • I was a fan of the old Kubota machines. The newer ones are not supposed to be as good. I am trying out the equivalent iseki and john deere machines next week. The best machine I have used recently was a grillo but they are big money (around 24-26 k)

    Hi Robert

    I just pulled the trigger on the G21-E! I have been informed that it's the same machine as the original (apart from not having power steering) and having looked at the 2120 it was obviously a step down from what I was used to just on build quality but of course that is reflected in the price.

    The Grillo gear does look good and I might have a look at something in their walk behind range. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the Iseki/JD tractors.
