Replacement kit advice required

Hi All. Could use a little advice to steer me in the right direction.

Due to a van break in I'm looking to replace some/all of the following ASAP. I know some of these are old stock and have been updated but it's stuff I 've not had a problem with so equivalent items should be ideal. Short term I'd just replace the Kombi and get some attachments but as anyone who reads this forum knows, the long reach hedgetrimmer attachment is subject to a huge wait. So, to get going I basically need strimmer equivalent to an old Stihl fs90 (don't fancy 4mix), Some long reach equivalent to the KM94 Kombi, and a Stihl SH86 leafblower.

The hedgetrimmers (81R) and other attachments I'll replace in time.

Any advice appreciated. Tony

Have a look at the battery long reach.
I’ve been please with my hla86 (? The telescopic one) so far
    • Hi Richard. Thanks for your reply. I never previously fancied the battery stuff, I've always been confidant  with petrol and know exactly where I stand. I must say though, the weight looks attractive. Looking at the Stihl website, I'm finding the battery life hard to fathom. Can you keep one of those going all day? Or if doing multiple sites is it tricky to keep charged?

      • Cancel that last post! Just searched threads re battery kit. The long reach trimmer appears superb,  battery power for strimmer and blower- not so good. Going to have a good think over this.

I’ve had a Day hedge cutting with an 87t and the long each battery for the high bits and the long reach only used half an ap300 battery all day.
Blowers and strimmers a no go for me as yet as they eat the juice too quickly
          • Yeah, the hedgetrimmers look great. I'm just doing some pricing up replacement options. Going to have to jump right in tomorrow though to avoid making excuses to customers.

If you go the stihl long reach battery avoid the fastest charger as my dealer warned me off it as they’ve had a few battery fails from it. They haven’t seen any with the others. A few battery fails is about 5 from about 400 they have sold so not many but worth bearing in mind
              • Thanks for the tip, Richard.
