Repairing Water Feature

Afternoon all, we have just completed a curved water feature in block/render construction. Painted over with a rubberised pool paint. We have a very slow leak. Pretty sure the leak is in one of the corners approx. 500mm depth. Can anyone help out with a recommendation of a material to repair. Ideally would prefer to repair under water & not have to empty out all of the water. Are we looking at a mastic tape or sealer? Cheers Shaun
