Red Robin Black Spot

Need advice on how to treat black spot on my Red Robins, i have 7 making a 1m high hedge planted in Feb this year and in the last 2 weeks have noticed the leaves have black spot, the neibour has a Rose very close which also has black spot think that might off start the infection, have read that i have to cut out infected leaves but this would leave them nearly bare.

Can anybody recommend a spray to cure or slow the process down.

  • Rose clear ultra or similar fungicide will do as a treatment.

If using an all in one like rose clear, it's an insecticide too, so be sure to follow instructions re timing of application to avoid harming bees.

Can you do anything to improve air flow in the area? ie remove low branches of nearby trees? It may well be spreading from the roses, but as a fungal infection, environmental conditions will be a cause.
