"Britain's brief period of fine weather is over, as forecasters predict unsettled, wet and windy conditions for at least the next four weeks.

"A fortnight of clear skies and moderately warm spells may, depressingly, be all the summer we're to receive this year, as forecasters predict a return of the wind, rain and cold that blighted spring."

    We've a fine weekend forecast but it looks like rain next week for us too. Poured with rain yesterday as well.

    The only consolation is that plants are flourishing and it's good that trees have had two good years of growth and the groundwater has been restored.
