  I pay £50 a year for 3 million  and that covers me for commercial cleaning too, but it does not cover me for laying patios etc.

    that sounds a bargain......... I use Directline........ £100 for 5 million........... how anyone could sue me for 5 million is beyond me...... in USA perhaps..... but a "managing agent" insisted I needed it.

      The insured amount is normally to cover 3rd party medical injuries, rather than building etc repairs - ie if an ‘incident’ happened and someone lost a limb etc - it would cover medical costs, recuperation and future living expenses ....

      Same major cost element as motor insurance now....

      I had Directline last year for a previous policy after many years with A-Plan, but found doing things face to face with A-Plan in their office was far more straightforward so went back to them for the latest renewal in August. 

      Im on my own as a sole Trader and also pay £106.29 for £5m

  With broken window etc.. You'll find it's cheaper to just pay for it yourself.

  The excess will be about the same.

  I am a single handed gardener with 1M cover through simply business. I think I paid about £90 for the year.

  If you take out a policy with them using my link below you will hopefully get a £25 Gift Card and I get £50 gift card.

  Then if you refer someone you would hopefully get a £50 gift card. Only take it out if it suits you though.
