Dear Progreen People

I (and the people that reply to this optimistic post) have decided you need to do a Last Week of September promotion.

That 'LJN Sponsor logo' up there on the right is all very well, but as the nights draw in you need to add some pizzazz.

All you have to do is post a new discount code and sit back while the orders pour in.

Autumn lawn feeds will help the green shoots of recovery post-Brexit.  People that think they are falling through the cracks can take some glyphosate with them.

At the very least, a special discount on your Weed-ball will get the ball rolling....

Hi John, Its a very suitable spray year round - it has a number of properties that make it great for autumn but its not the whole answer. Its has virtually no Nitrogen  - perfect for autumn and it has anti-fungal properties which is great when grass tends to be wet for longer periods (dew, rainfall). Trace elements also are a vital ingredient but you generally need a higher amount of Potassium in an autumn fertiliser so mixing it with a liquid fert or slow release granule will be a better option ( Amvista Longlast 10-0-30). Seaweed sprays work best when applied regularly throughout the growing season .....
Knapsack sprayers - well, take you pick - a variety of options in size, pump type and comfort levels to suit how often and how much you need to spray. All have changeable nozzles which is the key - high outout Anvil/ polijet or grey Evenspray nozzles will suit lawnfertilisers best as you need a high volume of water.

Happy to talk it through and discuss other options like Maxicrop if you prefer.

..very good Tim ! always worth a try...we try to do a discount for LJN members that contact us anyway. As a headline sponsor of LJN for over 5 years we've forged a great relationship with the LJN community, who have become customers and we now count ourselves lucky to call some of them our good friends.

I will see what we can do Tim, but we stand ready for anyone who wants to order a pre-Brexit, pre-price rise ahead of 2020  - you are welcome to ring/ email...

    • Thankyou!   It's very demotivating to have a box on your order form ready and waiting for the discount code...and no discount code.   I'll email you.

    • What's that, Progreen offering LJN members a super big discount off, say, a pallet of spring fertilisers? ;)

          Hi John,
Safest from staining ? thats a granule with no iron - so the 10-0-30 slow release is excellent for reviving a tired, stressed lawn in a sustainable way. Then fill any good weather gaps with sprays of seaweed to add 'vitamins'...
