I'd stick with using the Chikara........... brilliant stuff. I've found one application will keeps things clear for almost 12 months. Needs to be kept well away from grass edges on driveways etc as the slightest sniff of the stuff will kill the grass. Doesn't look like you get much for your money with the tiny container but it goes a long way and works out pretty good value. I've also used Pistol which is also very effective.
The pre-emergent could only be used on the gravel areas....block paving is classed as a hard surface so approvals -wise only the Nomix Dual & CDA system would be approved on the paving. Chikara or Paradise are the residual of choice for their flexibility of use on their own or combined with glyphosate.....Proshield offers a 2 in 1 and if you have large areas then works out slightly better per m2....

Thanks for the advice, I am just little concerned about children coming into contact with the risidual in the gravel and if anybody knew of any health concerns I should be aware of.
I will take a look at Nomix Dual & CDA system.
Thanks again
+1 for the Nomix system.
Make's life (and safety) much easier.
My only issue was the removal of the selective pesticide range - maybe they'll re-certify....
+1 for the Nomix system.
Nomix it is then, just been reading through the product information. Thanks for the advice.
Does anyone have a price per m2 that would be applicable for the nomix dual using their CDA system. It is quite an expensive product and I am trying to work out a price that I can using per m2 when pricing jobs.
dose rate per hectare is 9 L/ha for the Dual (weedkill & residual). For a 750ml bottle coverage in theory is approx 800m2 . Dual sold in singles or packs of four. £20.72 + VAT for a bottle....
Bear in mind you will need a Universal cleaner bottle to run through the lance after every application to ensure the concentrate doesn't stick, dry and clog the internal gubbins ! DUAL
Thanks, ProGreen, sorry the penny has only just dropped that you are a supplier....supplier under your profile pic should have given the game away! I have this morning purchased the Nomix Dual, cleaner and CDA system direct from Nomix. Had I realised I would most certainly have made the purchase from yourselves, I have just taken a look at your website and you have everything I need on there. I will make all future orders through yourselves, I will require throughout the summer, Chikara, Gallup 360 (or similar) and more Nomix Dual. Am also looking to purchase another knapsack sprayer next month. Once again appologies I did not pick up it (rookie error) and will look forward to doing some business with yoursleves in the future,.
Never mind (crying)......no, its fine - we are around for the long term so I'm sure we can help you with something soon...
