Police appeal for information following rogue gardeners in Macclesfield

Police are appealing for information following an incident of rogue gardeners in Macclesfield.

On Friday 4 September, at approximately midday two unknown men went to the victim’s home at Bollinbarn Drive, Macclesfield.

Once at the address the two men have completed some substandard gardening work and charged the occupant £350. They then drove the female victim to the bank to withdraw the money.

The offenders are described as male wearing dark clothing.

Police are appealing for information for anyone who saw two men acting suspiciously in the area or received a similar request for work to contact Cheshire Police on 11 quoting incident number 649 of 4 September. Alternatively information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
