POINTING GRANITE SETT DRIVEWAY

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help? Potentially Ive got a vehicular parking area to lay made from Granite setts 110mmx110mmx50mm . My question is I would like to point them with a well known joint compound which uses lots of water which I have successfully used on Indian sandstone paving. Im just not sure if this is suitable for use on a vehicular area? Does anyone else have any ideas or know a suitable product or how to point apart from the old fahioned hands and knees method. I dont want to get involved with using black pitch either. The area is 12.5 m2.

Thanks Dan.

  • Hi dan,if u are laying on a full Concorete base or full mortar bed then weather point 365 will be fine but if there's any movement in the setts it will show up . I use marshalls weather point to joint/point driveways but my driveways are laid on full Concorete screeds!! alternativly why not use marshalls cobbletech ???
As long as driveway is a rigid laid option rather than flexible it works fine
    Cheers Brian
