Pleached hornbeam

HI, I have an 18m stretch of pleached hornbeam being planted. Can I ask for your expertise and experience of the spacings and the best way to secure the hornbeam. We have specified rootballed and 125-150cm in spread. T
There are lots of conflicting ideas out there.
