Plant programme for Autocad 2005

Hi Guys,

Now months later I am still deciding which route to take for moving away from my drawing board and onto computer.

I am doing a final analysis before I make my decision. Three options are:

- Trial Systems £3500

- Vectorworks £2,200

- Autocad (I have 2005 on my computer) £0, Sketchup Pro £300ish and ???? program for planting plants etc £???

Someone mentioned Land FX but it is not compatible with Autocad 2005. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Ryan

How about Dynascape? I have been using it for 12 years and it can be Design for the black and white garden graphics, colour to colour it in or there is a plug in for sketchup and lots of components, plants etc for you to use!

Here is my website design page: http://www.johncavilldesign.co.uk/design.html and something a little different with 126 cad designs.http://www.johncavilldesign.co.uk/garden_designs1.html

You can use sketchup for free to start with and get a feel for the whole system. Take a look, see what you think?
