    Try Greenwoods Nursery at Aldingbourne nr Chichester (they also have another branch up North)

    We've had stuff from there, I know a few others but they are more on Hampshire / Sussex borders....

    Hi Myles,

    I've had good experiences with these companies in West Sussex;

    * The Plant Company in Coolham (not too far from you)
    * Village Nurseries in West Chiltington

    East Sussex;

    * Pure Plants in Blackboys

    All offer trade accounts. Architectural plants in Mid-hurst have some superb large specimens but not sure if they offer discounts. Birchfield nursery in Henfield offers a loyalty scheme and is good for bulk orders.

    Hope some of this is helpful,

    Cheers.
  • Hi Myles,

    If you want a good nursery with a wide selection of plants have a look at

    www.stavertonnursery.co.uk/

    family run etc no sun loungers.....just good plants

    don't know about trade discounts you will have to ask.

    Regards
    Andy

  • for a good range of architectural plants then theres the big plant nursery who do trade and are very helpful

    prenplants are also good for smaller bedding plants and shrubs etc

    both on the net as i dont have their details to hand, been using both for years

  • In East-Sussex the only true wholesaler I know of is Saxon Plants. http://www.saxonplants.co.uk/

    I'd also recommend Staverton Nursery as posted above for a good value retail nursery.

  • I don't know if T&S are anywhere near you they are in Dorset, T & S Plants

  • PRO

    Not sure what T&S plants are up to.

    They arranged a plant workshop though LJN but didn't respond to questions from members.

    No idea if the event went ahead or not.

  • Wow thank you all so much, that should keep me busy for a while checking all of them out. I've had a year of getting a few gardens back under control, so hopefully this year we can start getting more plants in. Thanks again
