pergola construction

I am going to build a pergola. It will have a wooden frame and I want to put galvanised wire rope running in evenly spaced rows across the open roof and back.
A traditional but also slightly contemporary look.
Does anyone please have suggestions for products that tighten and hold the wire? I want the wire to run directly straight into the wooden posts as the photo I have added shows.
Please help me find a smart, simple look that is cheap too.
