New lawn mower...

I was cutting a hedge for a guy, when he started asking my about lawn mowers, & could i reccomend one & how much would he have to pay for a good one.
The family have a large garden & he is not diy inclined, so bearing this in mind, i sugested that instead of spending $400/500 on a new mower, he paid me to cut his grass, as this would not only save on the cost of purchase, also no fuel to buy or servicing to pay for. His reply ?," i like your thinking, you've got a deal ".

    If he had a lge garden he could easy double or treble that for a mower..plus his time etc and still not achieve a good finish ;-)

    It's a shame but I would have had to turned him away as I'm maxed out all the time ! I've passed work on to set up two other gardeners since Lol

    Lol, no i checked before making the offer !. I only started last year, so i'm still building up a customer base. I currently have 3 regular domestic maintanence jobs & commercial contract, as well as "one offs", so i can fit him in, but work is building up.
