Nasty rash like hives?

Does anyone know what the common plants are for giving nasty rashes? I was at one of my customers places today and I was clearing out a whorethorn tree you know the one!! With the evil spikes that you spend weeks trying to pull out of your skin if you haven't used gloves lol. Anyway that was the first the second was a climber on a fence that flowers not sure of the name but I had to prune this one back. Tonight I have come up in a nasty rash on both arms that almost look like blisters and I am scratching like a dog with fleas any thoughts lol??

    It could be anything! I get something similar from some tree pollens. It sounds like a allergy but I'm no doctor. Try antihistamine cream and visit your GP.

        I thought poison ivy only grows in the usa?

        It could be anything, but you may now have triggered an allergic response in your body for this plant. Always have some antihistamine in your van, plus baby wet wipes and a bar of soap and small towel.
