My Page and Profile information questions

I have been inspired to make the most of my page and the obvious SEO benefits of LJN after rereading the Mick Gammage SEO case study.

Maybe somebody can help me with a few questions about My Page and Profile information?

  1. I see Mick has an image in the middle of his profile information. How can this be done as i don't see a way to insert one or mess about with html. Is it possible to get links in there as well?
  2. The text box is empty on my page but i want to make use of it. Mick has links to his social media pages in there. I will be doing that also, but what else can/should go in there?
  3. Is it advisable to put your address in the profile information box? Any local SEO benefits of doing it?
  4. I know you can change your page url but this has adverse SEO consequences. But how about changing your username to include your full name and business name or website url ?What that give any SEO benefits?

Thanks in advance, i am obsessed with SEO at the moment!

    Hi Stuart

    You have full HTML control of your box but there is not a set of tools as there is in the forum editor, for example.

    Unfortunately you'll have to code it manually or create the code in another html box - in the forum fore example - and then paste the code into your about page section.

    To add a link, use this example:

    <a href="http://www.landscapejuice.com">Landscape Juice</a>

    To add an image:

    <a href="http://www.landscapejuice.com">Landscape Juice<img src="https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314641736?profile=RESIZE_180x180"></a>

    I have done some serious work on MY PROFILE PAGE today. Please have a look and tell me what you think (use the like buttons and G+1 if you like). I've got up to the 4000 word maximum for the about your business section. Added lots of stuff in the text box as well. I'm quite pleased with it so far. Head hurts now.
