My new van graphics

Just want to share my new coloured-in van. I hope it sends a clean and professional image as that's how I work and it would be nice to have people see it whilst working and call later after being impressed with my handiwork.I'm not looking for criticism as it's too late now!CheersPS How do you embed a photo so it appears in the body of the message? I have tried using the 'img' code to no avail.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/glasgowdan/DSCN3226-1.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/glasgowdan/DSCN3225-1.jpgVisit us at www.danfrazergardening.co.uk

  • looks good mate, who did you get to do them? I'm trying to get mine done just now
  • Paul at http://www.graffixdetail.com/ , in Glasgow. Cost roughly £250+. Friendly and he knows his stuff, I put a basic design to him on powerpoint and he returned an improved version ready to print up and gave me the choice of designs, mine or his. I went with his!

If you end up using him mention me please as I may be getting another done in future :o)
  • Says it all Dan.

    Good luck to you.

  • its very clear , straightforward and to the point - i like it ......... pics tell 1000 words !
  • Here is the draft for the new van, similar layout but I have used a much higher res picture for the background which should make a difference to people walking past.

Again, I have used Graffix Detail, of the Colin Hunt Group in Glasgow. ( http://www.graffixdetail.com/ ) Excellent quality product, the last stickering was on for 2 years and not a hint of fading or peeling/damage. The stuff comes with a 7-year expected life as I recall him saying.

  • Hi, yes, if you read through I have updated the graphics for the new van which I picked up today. It's being signwritten on Monday.

The van livery got me at least 3 regular maintenance customers, plus who knows how many smaller jobs while parked up doing regular work. The main purpose is to ensure the image I want to present is being maintained though. If there are second and third vehicles eventually I want people to recognise them as the local business they have seen around.

Also it simply feels much better driving a van when you know people are aware of who you are and what you do. I have a few jobs on busy roads and during the school run I am getting cheap advertising in front of hundreds of busy families with large gardens who may need someone to take over the work for them.

  • looks good simple and clear
